PetSmart holds grand opening at Dawley Farms
PetSmart will hold its grand opening Saturday at Dawley Farm Village, featuring giveaways and great savings.
The store has opened north of Burlington and is the most up-to-date PetSmart in the area.
“I think it looks great,” store manager Lance Butler said. “We’re excited to be here.”
Special features of the store include a large area in the back featuring premium, natural dog and cat food plus treats; a expanded area for cat adoption; and an expansive salon for grooming.
Mayor Mike Huether will help cut the ribbon to officially welcome the store at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The first 25 pets to visit the store will receive a free bath or grooming service.
The first 100 customers to make a purchase will receive coupons worth $30.
Other events include:
- July 29 at noon: Tour the store with a scavenger hunt to win valuable coupons and more, plus see vendor demonstrations and take home product samples.
- Aug. 12 at noon: PetSmart hosts on-site pet adoption, and visitors can hold bearded dragons, pet the guinea pigs and feed the fish.
PetSmart also will work with Avera to donate stuffed animals to pediatric patients this holiday season.
