Dawley Farms prepares for new openings
It’s looking like a busy summer at Dawley Farm Village.
Pet parents will be excited to learn that shopping will get much more convenient, as PetSmart plans to open by July 1.
“It will be a fantastic addition to Dawley Farms,” said Raquel Blount, vice president of commercial real estate for Lloyd Companies, who leases space at Dawley Farms.
“We have been hoping to bring a pet store to the development for years, and PetSmart will bring a wide variety of products along with grooming and boarding services.”
The store is located north of Burlington.
In June, Voyage Federal Credit union will open its fourth Sioux Falls location at Dawley Farms near the Century East movie theater.
It will offer a modern approach to financial services, with a concierge lounge offering refreshments, a kids’ area, a self-service coin counter and a full product line.
There likely are more new additions ahead, too.
“We’ve had a lot of interest recently in the two lots we have available,” Blount said. “We’re working with a restaurant group. We recently sold land to a home builder, and we’re negotiating on some office land.”

“We expect the strong interest we’ve seen from retailers in Sioux Falls to continue,” Blount said.
“But if you haven’t visited Dawley Farms lately, you’ll probably find that it feels new already --from Coffea Roasterie and First Bank & Trust to great new merchandise from our line-up of current retailers. Shoppers tell us all the time they can’t believe how easy it is to get around at Dawley and how much they like all the convenient options there. That’s only going to get better.”
